James is a supervising attorney who joined Eccleston & Wolf in 1992 after graduating from the Boston University School of Law and completing a clerkship with the Honorable Alan J. Wilner, then the Chief Judge of the Court of Special Appeals.
James concentrates his practice on the defense of professionals, including attorneys, architects, engineers,Homeowner’s Associations (HOA), Community Organizations and Management Companies, financial advisors and accountants, in both state and federal courts, at the trial level and on appeal. He also represents attorneys in administrative proceedings, including attorneys before the Attorney Grievance Commission and accountants before the Maryland Board of Public Accounting. In addition, he represents defendants in FDPCA, RESPA, construction and real estate claims and he provides coverage opinions and advice to insurance companies. He has been selected as a Maryland Super Lawyer and for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America.
