Thomas J. Althauser (Retired)
After spending eight years in the U.S. Navy on nuclear fast attack submarines, Tom joined Eccleston and Wolf as a law clerk in 1987. After completing law school and passing the bar, he continued with the firm as an associate in 1988.
Tom’s practice concentrated in the field of insurance defense law, with an emphasis on the defense of professionals including architects, engineers, health care professionals, accountants, lawyers, and insurance and investment brokers. He has also defended a wide variety of lawsuits involving serious personal injuries, including claims involving toxic torts and defective products.
