Toxic Tort Actions

The firm regularly defends a wide variety of toxic tort actions. Some claims have involved gasoline leakage and gasoline-related explosions. Claims have also involved carbon monoxide exposure allegedly due to defective natural gas and propane-fueled devices. Other cases have involved exposure to a wide variety of chemicals, including claims where so-called chemical sensitivity is an issue.

Several attorneys also have experience with mold claims. Clients have included owners and managers of buildings, home inspectors, and realtors, where it is alleged that improper or incomplete efforts were made to control and remediate mold or other toxins. In other instances, clients were experts in the field of mold remediation. Attorneys in the firm have given seminars on the defense of mold claims.
